All is chaos here.
Our Charleston house is under sales contract, scheduled to close on October 15th.
A week ago, after researching moving costs & Argentine customs law, we decided to unload everything. Between Craigslist, garage sale, & friends, we've sold a lot. The 2nd & final garage sale will be this coming Saturday. Our house has 4 garage doors at ground level under the living space. This is the first time we've found them all useful. The hundreds of trips up & down stairs have not been fun.
In the middle of all this, we completed the design stage of our La Estancia house with Calchaqui Homes, chose a builder, signed the contract, & wired money. We hope to hear that building has begun within the next two weeks.
On September 13th, we fly to Hawaii, where we will live until our La Estancia house is ready. We'll be in Cafayate for the October event & hope to see many of you there.
