Alice Mackenzie Swaim

"Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go; it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow."

1912 - 1996

Strength often comes from unexpected places.  We sometimes misjudge people when we only look at the outside.  Inside is what counts.  As artists, writers and storytellers, we must look deep inside and see the truth beneath the surface.  We must find the courage to tell our story in words and images.
