Madam Curie Movie
Madame Curie is a 1943 movie that got the attention of the science loving audience at that time. Now this movie came into view again on the TCM channel when it was aired yesterday at 7:00 pm. The movie is not a science fiction movie, if that’s what most of you are wondering; it’s a “science” movie.
As most science students may already be acquainted with Madame Curie who is known for her extensive work in the field of radioactive elements, the movie “Madame Curie” shows the life and the work of the great scientist with her husband Dr. Pierre Curie.
The movie is a huge source of information for science lovers who don’t know much about the origins of the discovery of radioactivity, and is the source of a lot of interest and intrigue for those who are acquainted with the original story of the brilliant scientists. This is mainly because of the emotional and passion value attached with the discovery of radioactive elements and some of the very early work done in this field.
The movie shows the makeshift lab that the married couple used to do their experiments and the eventual death of Dr. Curie in a car accident.
