Neo Soul recording artist Erykah Badu gets charged for disorderly conduct for disrobing her clothes while filming a video for her new single "Window Seat". The video was filmed in a public area called Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. Dealey Plaza is also known as the location of John F. Kennedy's assassination (Nov.22/63). Badu's song & video encompasses a larger message that was similar to JFK's message, 'equality amongst all'.
Badu will have to pay a fine of up to $500.00 or she will be allowed to contest the fine in court. I think this charge sheds more publicity on Badu's "Window Seat", and like all great works of art, they are meant to be seen or heard. You can check out the video for "Window Seat" (inspired by Matt & Kim's "Lessons Learned") @ www.erykahbadu.com
