The album Second Chance (2010) is El DeBarge's first new album in 16 years. "Lay With You" was the 2nd single released and it has already peeked at # 20 on the U.S. R&B chart. Proving that he hasn't lost any of his falsetto swoon, "Lay With Me" echos the best of early '90's R&B without ever sounding dated. A summery laid back groove that sounds that much sweeter with the addition of the soulful Faith Evans.
