Canada Takes Over The Grammy Awards

With 23 nominations going into Sunday's Grammy Awards, Canadian artists are poised to clean up huge at this year's ceremony. Montreal based alt-rockers Arcade Fire are nominated for Album of the Year ("The Suburbs"), Alternative Album of the Year & Best Rock Performance by a duo or group ("Ready To Start"). Stratford, ON born Justin Bieber is nominated for Best New Artist & Best Pop Vocal Album ("My World 2.0). Toronto native Drake is up for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album ("Thank Me Later"), Best Rap Solo Performance ("Over") & Best Rap Performance by a duo or group ("Fancy" w/T.I. & Swizz Beatz). Two other Canadians received multiple nominations, Burnaby, B.C. native Michael Bublé for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance ("Haven't Met You Yet") & Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album ("Crazy Love") and Winnipeg raised Neil Young for Best Rock Vocal Performance, Best Rock Song ("Angry World") & Best Rock Album ("Le Noise").

Best Spoken Word Album:
Michael J. Fox ( A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Future)
Best Native American Music Album: 
Northern Cree( Temptations, Cree Round Dance Songs)
Best Long-form Music Video: 
Rush ( Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage)
