www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com
Formed in 1989 as a side project as other members of the R&B group New Edition pursued solo careers (Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill), Bell Biv DeVoe hit the music scene in 1990 with their smash debut album, Poison.
The album featured the title track "Poison" (#3 Pop, #1 R&B), "Do Me!" (#3 Pop, #4 R&B) and "B.B.D. (I Thought It Was Me)?" (#26 Pop, #1 R&B). The trio released two follow-up albums Hootie Mack (1993), BBD (2001) yet neither of them could match the success of their debut. Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe continue to perform as a trio and as part of New Edition. They performed "Poison" with The Roots last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
