PLAY IT AGAIN - Songs You Might Have Missed The First Time Around

"Edge Of A Dream" by Sarah Jarosz

Possessing a depth of artistry way beyond her 19 years of age, Sarah Jarosz is a talent to keep your eyes on. Born in Austin, Texas, she began her musical journey at a very young age. By the time she was 10, she knew how to play the piano, mandolin, guitar and the clawhammer banjo (down picking is the principal difference in banjo styles, in case you didn't know). In addition to being a multi-instrumentalist, Sarah is also a talented singer and songwriter. Her debut album, "Song Up In My Head" (2009) was released last summer to great critical praise. Her musical style encompasses elements of bluegrass, folk, pop and country. She was nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Performance for her song "Mansinneedof".

"Edge Of A Dream" is a stunning achievement of musical artistry. It transports you with it's ethereal beauty to another place. Introspection never sounded so good. Amazing.

On November 2, 2010, Jarosz will digitally release two brand new songs. The original "My Muse" and a cover of Bill Withers' "Grandma's Hands". You can also look forward to a new full-length album scheduled for release in the Spring of 2011.

You can find "Edge Of A Dream" on the album "Song Up In Her Head" (2009).
