"Love That Girl" by Raphael Saadiq
'60's soul lives on. Raphael Saadiq has been singing with 'old school' flare since his early days as a member of R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné! Saadiq is not only an accomplished singer/songwriter, but he is also a successful record producer (Joss Stone, Mary J. Blige, John Ledgend). "Love That Girl" is a groovy, feel good song that evokes another time. It was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance. The album "The Way I See It", in which "Love That Girl" is taken from, was also nominated for Best R&B Album. If you're a fan of classic Motown, then you'll love Raphael Saadiq.
