Eddie Fisher Dies at The Age of 82


Singer/actor Eddie Fisher (82) has passed away due to complications following a recent hip surgery. He became famous in the 1950's as a Pop singer with hits such as "I Need You Now" (1954, #1 Pop), "Heart" (1955, #6 Pop), and "Cindy, Oh Cindy" (1956, #10 Pop). In total Fisher had 17 Top 10 hits on the American Charts. From 1953-57 he hosted his own variety show called "Coke Time with Eddie Fisher". Even with all his early success, Fisher is probably best known for his high profile relationships. He was married 5 times. His short lived unions included actress Debbie Reynolds, actress Elizabeth Taylor and singer Connie Stevens.
