The Pointer Sister's began their recording career in 1973 and have collected 21 R&B & 15 Pop Top 40 hits on the U.S.A. Billboard Charts. "Baby Come And Get It" (#24 R&B, #44 Pop) was the fifth single off the trio's hugely successful "Break Out" (1983) album. A sexed-up, funky jam of a song. It's heavy use of synthesizers along with some smokin' electric guitar riffs helped prove that The Pointer Sisters were not always your traditional female singing R&B group.
