R.I.P. Nate Dogg (1969-2011)


Hip-hop artist Nathaniel Dwayne Hale aka Nate Dogg has passed away. Hailing from Long Beach, CA, Nate Dogg was part of the West Coast Hip-Hop scene. He released 3 solo albums and the album The Hard Way (2004) as a member of 213. His greatest success was guesting on over two hundred different hip-hop and R&B songs. Tracks include: Warren G's "Regulate" (1994),  Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode" (2000), Mos Def's "Oh No" (2000), Snoop Dogg's "Lay Low" (2001), Ludacris's "Area Codes" (2001), Mariah Carey's "If We" (2001), 50 Cent's "21 Questions" (2003), Houston's "I Like That" (2004), 2Pac's "Thugs Get Lonely Too (2004) and Eminem's "Shake That" (2005). Nate Dogg was also nominated for 4 Grammy Awards in the best Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category.
