Disco and House Music singer Loleatta Holloway has passed away at the age of 64. If you aren't familiar with her name, you are surely familiar with her voice. She started out singing Gospel as part of the Holloway Community Singers in her hometown of Chicago, IL in the '60's. In the '70's she hit with the ballad "Cry To Me" (#10 R&B, #68 Pop). But it wasn't until the '80's that Holloway found her niche...dance music. She hit #1 on the Dance Chart with "Love Sensation" (1980) which would latter be sampled by Marky Marky & the Funky Bunch for their #1 hit "Good Vibrations" (1991).
