Jamie Cullum is a jazz-pop singer-songwriter from Romford, England. Since his debut album in 1999, he has become renown for fusing the fundamental foundations of jazz music with elements of pop. Cullum has covered many contemporary artists such as Radiohead ("High & Dry"), The White Stripes ("Seven Nation Army"), Massive Attack ("Teardrops"), The Neptunes ("Frontin' "), Jeff Buckley ("Lover, You Should Have Come Home"), and Rihanna ("Don't Stop The Music"). But one of his original compositions (music co-written by Kyle Eastwood and Michael Stevens) is the endearing piano ballad "Gran Torino", the title song from the film. The song "Grad Torino" was nominated for a 2008 Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
