SPORTS fans in Chester are being urged to hurry up and get tickets for next year’s Olympic games.
Staff at Thomas Cook say there has been a “boom” at its Chester stores, in Bridge Street and Northgate Row South, in bookings for Olympic ticket packages.
Cheshire and North Wales regional sales manager Matt Harding said: “Last week was our busiest so far, with people unlucky in the ballot visiting our local Chester stores for ticket packages, as fans hope to secure themselves a seat at the Games.
“Although a number of events are selling out, we still have limited availability in some of the most popular sports that have been oversubscribed in the ballot.”
