Sony said it is developing a new platform as the successor to the PlayStation 3. This console also promised would be different from previous generations.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sony, Masaru Kato, divulge it at a conference which quoted by detikINET from Eurogamer, Friday (27/05/2011).
"As arguably the PS3 home products are still reliable, while the next console more towards business features. But we can not give details at this time," said Kato.
The statement of course is in contrast with the spoken Kaz Hirai, Sony Computer Entertainment as President and CEO. The electronic giant boss said to stay focused on developing the PlayStation 3 until 2016.
